Adventurer Photographer | Storyteller
Over the last few years I have jumped at the chance to work with different brands and get heavily involved in adventure and product photography. With those partnerships, I have done everything from catalog shoots on far off expeditions, to shoots at home in San Francisco.
I have worked with brands:
Patagonia, Patagonia Provisions, Mercedes Benz, Outdoor Research, Saucony, Rudy Project, Buff Headwear, SOG Knives and Tools, Granite Gear, Sierra Designs, Stio Mountain Apparel, Triple Aught Design, Cervelo Cycles, and many more.
Photography is a passion of mine that developed out of a love for the wilderness, and the desire to capture moments in the ways they were experienced. As the student of a fine art photographer, but also a mountain athlete, my roots are technical at heart, and minimalist by nature. Today, I spend as much time as possible getting myself into the wilderness. As a mountain athlete, I have a background in ski racing, ski mountaineering, cross country skiing, and ice climbing. During summer months I throw myself at triathlon and mountain biking. I have found that this balance of sport and location gains me access to unique places to bring the camera.
Brand partnerships have helped me find the means to explore open spaces within: Patagonia, Peru, Bolivia, New Zealand, Australia, Ireland, Iceland, Norway, Poland, Germany, and throughout the US - particularly in the Northern Sierra Nevada, Yosemite, Jackson, Wyoming, Kauai, and of course the San Francisco Bay.
I intend to pursue my passion for wild spaces, mountains, and people, by traveling overland, and with the camera, whenever possible.
